Botanically, rooibos belongs to the legume plant family. These originally grow in the western mountain regions of South Africa in the Western Cape province. Rooibus is a very popular decaffeinated drink in southern Africa. To start the fermentation of the plant, the cut branches are chopped into smaller pieces. This process leads to the typical colour and specific taste of Rooibush tea. Rooibush contains particularly many polyphenols and flavonoids. In contrast to the traditional tea bush, Rooibush contains no caffeine and hardly any tannins. With a gentle aromatic taste, it is very mild. The cup has a red-golden colour. Rooibos tea from controlled organic cultivation.
To ensure the excellent quality, the raw material is controlled and bottled in our manufactory in Germany. Free of any additives and therefore extremely compatible. Suitable for vegans and all those who pay attention to a balanced, relaxed lifestyle.
Preparation:
4-6 mins - 6 teaspoons to 1 litre - 95°.
