Annual mugwort (Artemisia annua) belongs to the daisy family. With its small yellow flowers, the plant, which grows to between 1 and 1.50 m high, is quite inconspicuous. In contrast to its appearance, the plant has a strikingly aromatic scent. The plant is annual: hence the name annual mugwort.
Annual mugwort particularly likes to grow in warm, rainy areas: it can be found in China, northern India, Iraq, and large parts of southeastern Europe. Annual mugwort can also be found occasionally in some regions in Austria and Germany.
Biotiva's annual mugwort comes from controlled organic cultivation in Croatia. To ensure the excellent quality, the raw material is checked and bottled in our factory in Germany.
