Everyone knows valerian, but few know what it looks like and that it also grows in our region. Valerian is a perennial, herbaceous plant that grows wild in the Andes or in Central Europe. It has white to pink, umbel-like inflorescences and feathery leaves. Its flowering period is from June to August. Its botanical name is Valeriana officinalis. The valerian root, also known as Valerianae radix, is used in particular. This is dug up and then gently dried. This is how it develops its typical smell.
The valerian root powder used is 100% organic certified. The powder is filled into vegan HPMC capsules.
The raw materials from controlled organic cultivation and the gentle processing in a factory in Bavaria with over 30 years of experience guarantee a natural product that is vegan, lactose and gluten-free. You also benefit from the absence of additives and release agents such as magnesium salts or other fillers and flow agents. To ensure this, the capsules and their contents are checked regularly.
