Elecampane

Elecampane is a herbaceous plant that grows up to two metres high and originally comes from Asia. Today it grows in many parts of Europe. Elecampane is known by many names, including elecampane, gutwort, bellwort, helenalant and snakeweed. The plant flowers from June to September and is characterised by its yellow flowers. It has been used as a spice plant since ancient times.
