What exactly are collagens? Collagens are a group of different proteins. They are a major component of the total amount of protein in the human body. Our skin, for example, consists of up to 75% collagen. Collagen is also an important component of bones, tendons, cartilage, blood vessels and teeth. However, collagens such as those found in the tissues of mammals and humans are hardly bioavailable in their natural form. Therefore, valuable collagen must be broken down by enzymatic hydrolysis into small molecules, so-called peptides, which have very good bioavailability. Such bioactive collagen peptides provide the body with "building blocks" for the endogenous (body's own) synthesis of collagens.

Our collagen hydrolysate from Puraveda is mainly obtained from type I (but also some type 3). To ensure the excellent quality, the powder is checked and bottled in our factory in Germany. Free from any additives. Puraveda collagen is neutral in taste due to its high-quality processing. It can therefore be mixed with water and drunk, as well as mixed into shakes, salads or muesli. Thanks to the high-tech hydrolysis, Puraveda collagen is also completely soluble in cold water.

Preparation:
Mix one tablespoon with 10g of collagen from Puraveda in water and drink daily.
