The cocoa powder convinces with the highest organic quality, which is why it is filled in an almost untreated form free of additives - and sugar. The highly deoiled cocoa contains only 10 - 12% fat, has a high proportion of valuable active ingredientssecondary plant active ingredients. Its versatility and the strong cocoa flavour make the organic powder a true all-rounder in the kitchen: It can be used excellently for baking, desserts or other sweet dishes and not only children love cocoa as drinking chocolate. The powder contains only the best organic cocoa of the Forastero variety, which is naturally extremely resistant to diseases and pests. This favours the organic cultivation of the cocoa, which is also produced fairly.
Our cocoa powder comes mainly from small-scale farming structures in the Dominican Republic and Peru. To ensure better working and living conditions on the producer side, each producer must comply with and personally sign a defined code of conduct. Compliance with this code is monitored by all participants.
