Black cumin (Nigella sativa) is an ancient spice plant that originates from the Orient. The black cumin plant is a herbaceous plant with white to light purple flowers and thrives in Western Asia, Turkey and Iraq. Black cumin seeds have been used there as a spice for more than 2000 years. Black cumin is often used for Turkish flatbread, but it can be used in many different ways. Black cumin is not related to the classic caraway or cumin.
Black cumin from controlled organic cultivation. To ensure the excellent quality, the raw material is controlled and bottled in our manufactory in Germany. Free from any additives and therefore extremely well tolerated. Suitable for vegans and all those who pay attention to a balanced, relaxed lifestyle.
Preparation:
As a spice or tea: pour 1 tsp with crushed black cumin per cup with hot water and steep for 10 min.
